Scores, in more places
The latest round: a public MCP server so AI assistants can read our scores directly, embeddable score badges, ticker pages rebuilt as a decision aid, sign-up down to an email and a password with the card moved onto the trial, and an open-access month on the Free plan that ended on 8 September 2026. Same transparent six-factor scores behind everything; here’s what changed and where to find it.
Ask your AI assistant for a score
Tapeline now runs a public MCP server at api.tapeline.io/mcp. Connect it and your assistant can pull a ticker’s six-factor score. Free, no account, no API key; setup instructions at tapeline.io/mcp.

"url": "https://api.tapeline.io/mcp"

Drop a Tapeline Score into a blog post, Substack or GitHub README. Two flavours: an iframe widget for web pages and an SVG badge at tapeline.io/badge/{TICKER} that renders in GitHub markdown. Free, no auth, no API key — it shows the same score the site does.

Ticker pages rebuilt as a decision aid
Every ticker page now carries key statistics — market cap, 52-week range, relative volume, earnings date and more — and places the score in context: the composite and all six factors are ranked against sector peers, with the peer group and its size printed next to every percentile. When there are too few peers to rank, the page says so instead of guessing. A six-factor radar shows the shape of the score at a glance.
Sign up with an email and a password; the card starts the trial
A new account takes an email and a password and lands on the Free plan, which opens the scanner at the top ten scored rows — prices delayed about 15 minutes, as on every plan — plus one saved screen, a 5-symbol watchlist and 12 ticker pages a day. A card is the separate step that starts the 30-day Premium trial, and it is what turns on every matching row, a second saved screen, alerts and insider filings: $0 charged today, then $19.99 a month from day 30 until you cancel. We email you about 7 days before that charge, and you can cancel online any time, from the first screen of the cancel flow — cancel before day 30 and you are never charged.
Open-access month (ended 8 September 2026)
From 20 August to 8 September 2026, signed-in Free accounts saw 1,000 ranked scanner rows instead of the top 10 — the same row cap the paid plans use. That period has ended: since 8 September the Free plan shows the top 10 rows again, and nothing else about the Free plan changed.
Search anything, instantly
Jump straight to a ticker by symbol or company name, on desktop and mobile. Type two symbols like “AAPL MSFT” to open a head-to-head, or start typing a page to jump there.

A cleaner way to navigate
The app moved to a tidy left sidebar with grouped sections and clear highlighting of where you are — so the scanner, watchlist, alerts and signals are always one click away, on any screen size.
Stock-vs-stock, head to head
A new Compare page puts two tickers side by side on the same six-factor score, factor by factor. Every matchup is descriptive.
Your screens, one click away
Save a scanner setup and it’s pinned in the sidebar as its own destination — and each saved screen is a shareable link, so your recurring questions are always a click away.
Alerts, simplified
We consolidated alerts onto the two channels people actually use — email and browser push. If you’d set up the retired Telegram channel, these two carry the same alert rules.
See it for yourself
Ticker pages are free to read with no account. A free account takes an email and a password and opens the scanner at the top ten scored rows; a card is what starts the 30-day Premium trial — $0 today.
